Kinross Lane in Blairsville, GA in Snow

This new never-lived-in large one-level home on full unfinished basement in Nottely Highlands was covered in snow today. I brought new flyers to the property. It has paved driveways to the main level and the lower lever, woods behind and the property goes down to a creek below. Located in a great neighborhood with higher priced homes. Large open great room, wood floors and ceilings, large master with fireplace, fireplace in great room, custom cherry cabinets with roll-out drawers, pantry, computer desk, hutch, more! Granite countertops, rock knee wall. 3BR/2BA + basement with finished 2 car garage,  plumbed for 3rd bathroom, framed out for huge rec room/den and 4th bedroom. A steal at the reduced price from $329,000! Seller is builder and motivated for this lovely home to have a family to keep it warm. Near Lake Nottely, 3 miles from Hwy 515 for convenience, but private.

Deer at night in the snow

It's getting dark, but you can see the deer in the snow and their little eyes lighting up from my flash. I took this tonight in Trackrock area of Blairsville, GA. Not much traffic down that road so I stopped and rolled the window down. I was talking to them and they stopped and listened, but ran when the flash went off.
Snow in the moonlight is one of my favorite things in the mountains!!!
Florida is the only state without snow in this country right now (the lower 48). Being from South Florida, there was an artist "Christo" that put pink vinyl around the islands scattered throughout the Keys and it was beautiful. Here, nature does the same display without any hazard to the environment. Some people want to purchase lake front where the lake levels don't change. I think that's like living in a place without seasons. In the winter, when the lake is lowered a little bit, you get these spectacular scenes of white islands, you can see the animals come take a drink. It was still snowing a little bit, but most of the roads are clear. Love it!

Gratitude is an Amazing Attitude!

These gorgeous lillies with pine branches were a gift to me from a Seller with a note that said "Thank you for getting it done". It's not easy these days, folks. The banks are under FDIC regulations, many of the rules have changed or change on a daily basis. You can get deals, but you may get some grey hair on the way. Yet, I AM SO BLESSED, because rather than complaints or impatience or blame, I received Gratitude which shows the character and core values of the people in this area and that is why I love living here and love helping other people live here!

Lakefront Home on deep water!

This Lake Chatuge home sits on deep water!! Year-round access with a boat lift to keep it out of the water during the winter. This home is practically the price of for JUST A LAKEFRONT lot! Add the floating dock, irrigation system, 2 screened porches, detached 2 car garage, 2 car carport, landscaped & wooded (for privacy) lot and the 4BR/4BA home for only about $100,000 more than a plain deep water lakefront lot!!! And, this home is located on a point with only 4 other homes! Watch the movie! Or even better, come see for yourself! Best time to view and purchase lakefront property is NOW, when you see how deep the water really is! For TVA info (when lake levels rise & fall) go to http://www.tva.org/.

Deer out my window

The deer were out this morning trying to find something to eat under the snow. This was taken out my bedroom window at 8:00am this morning! Still about 8" on the ground!!
