SOLD - Cabin in Murphy, NC - future rental cabin?

Even though the Buyer was looking in GA, we found the perfect cabin in Murphy, NC. This client was looking for a family get-away cabin and possibly a rental; and this one came furnished and just a few miles from town and less than a mile to the Cherokee Hills Golf Course. After some research on the Casino coming soon to Murphy, the client decided to make his purchase in Murphy. We had to get a new survey because the lines were not marked well and just a few minor repairs and we were good to go and closed in 30 days! It closed in September, but for some reason the listing agent still has it as "contingent" in the MLS so it is showing up available, but I sold it!

There are some other Companies out there who say they are #1 because they mess with the numbers - that should be your first warning sign that they lack integrity! GET THE FACTS! You can always check directly with the Northeast Georgia Board of Realtors to confirm any thing you're told about sales and production.

Overall sales are up in 2012 over 2011 and in 2011 they were up over 2010! So, there is a trend in the number of transactions, but average price is way down.
